Consumer Product Praise Is Worth The Time
I love to give feedback to companies (either good or bad) about their products because I hope it helps them make their products better. I had no idea that these companies would actually listen, respond and send me products/coupons in return! I am excited to report to you what has happened to me when I simply told these companies what I thought of specific products.
I have been keeping track of all of the feedback I give and the responses I get back from the manufacturers and here is a short list of what I have found.

So all I did was go onto the above company websites and in the "contact us" field, I submitted feedback. In my feedback, I was very specific about which product I was writing about. I did this over a 2-3 week period and chose my very favorite items in my house to rave (or rant) about.

Printable Couponing 101
If you're new to couponing, it may be overwhelming to figure out where to get all of your coupons. There are some great resources online to print coupons each week. I generally print 50 coupons each week online and it's probably half of my savings at the grocery store.
I have listed my favorite ones below. Click the links below and be sure to bookmark these and check them every week.
Target Coupon Generator - you will have to register with A Full Cup to use this but it's worth it and totally FREE
General tips:
- Printable coupons are considered manufacturer coupons and are completely valid at grocery stores, drug stores and mass-merchants (like Target and Wal-mart).
- Each of the sites listed above are completely trusted sites and ones that I use every week!
- The rule with printable coupons is that it must contain a bar code and website/physical address of the manufacturer.
- Most of these sites allow you to print each coupon twice in a given period. The periods differ by site - some are 2 weeks and some are 4 weeks.
- These sites reset with new coupons at the beginning of the month. Since we're at the end of the month now, you should plan to log on to these sites, grab coupons now and then go back after the beginning of the month and do it again!
- You can enter your zipcode on the site (in the correct area) and it will bring up coupons just for your area.
- You can also sign up for email newsletters from some of these sites that allow you to get emails when the coupons change.

Product Review For Tyson Skillet Creations
I tried the new Tyson's Skillet Creations tonight - the Asian Style Orange Chicken. It was very tasty and I really liked the sauce, veggies and pasta. The chicken was not all white meat and some of it was not tender. My final verdict is that I would try another flavor but probably would not buy this one again.
Of course I got a deal on it - I used the $1/1 printable coupon and it was on sale so my final price was $4 at Wal-Mart.

Tuesday's Thrifty Tips
Here are this week's thrifty tips to save you time and money:
- Squeeze all you can out of the tube! Whether it's toothpaste, shampoo or sunscreen - be sure you are using all of the product in the tube to get your money's worth. Personally, I cut the end off and squeeze from the opposite end when it's almost empty. This allows me to get at least another 5-10 uses from the tube.
- Skip the paper towels! As a mother of 2 young boys, I am cleaning up spills and messes all the time!!! But, to be honest, paper towels are very expensive when we use them for every little mess. We've made a concentrated effort to use towels we can throw in the laundry and it has saved some money. I still keep paper towels on hand but I am not buying them as often as I used to!
- Set your printer on "economy setting". I didn't even know this existed until a friend of mine told me she printed alot of coupons (like I do) and she hardly has to replace her ink. I asked her secret and she said she uses the "economy setting" on her printer. To find out more about it, click here for an informative video.
- Use dryer sheets more than once. I generally use them 2-3 times before I toss them. I know people who cut them in half but that seems too time consuming for me.
- Freeze it! Store your extra hotdog and/or hamburger buns in the freezer instead of throwing them away. I always have leftover buns and this is a great tip to save money. I simply take them out 2-3 hours before I need them and thaw at room temperature.
- Reuse baggies. I wash mine out and reuse them. I definitely get my money's worth from a box of baggies!

KFC Grilled Chicken - Update on FREE Meal
Remember the KFC FREE Meal Deal that was announced in early May? We got our KFC FREE Grilled Chicken Meal vouchers a few weeks ago, which were valid for July 20 - August 3. We used them tonight for our "Saturday night" dinner at home, which worked out great since we were at the pool all afternoon and I didn't want to cook.
I admit that I was frustrated with the initial marketing of the FREE meal deal - they announced they had FREE meals for everyone and 2 days later they told everyone that they ran out and they would have to get rain checks!
But I admit that the transaction tonight was very easy, painless and actually pleasant. And..... the food was excellent! The new grilled chicken was very tasty and moist! They package the meal in a nice box that is easy to eat from and my kids loved the mac n cheese! I highly recommend trying the new KFC grilled chicken meal - for about $7 it is a great deal!
Kuddos to KFC for following through with the FREE meal and for it being so good!!!
K-Mart Doubling Coupons in Florida - August 16-22!
Great news! I just emailed my contact at K-Mart to see if the rumor was true and it is! They are doubling coupons again in August! The dates are August 16-22.
I've seen alot of buzz online already about the event and it seems that most K-Mart's in the U.S. are participating during these dates. I suggest you call your local K-Mart to make sure.
Start saving those coupons!

- Super Double Manufacturer Coupons Up to $2.00 with purchase of $25 or more in grocery & drugstore merchandise.
